Project Background
A regional construction contractor required a fully mobile aggregate production train that could be rapidly relocated between 3 quarry sites in the desert. The equipment had to operate reliably at ambient temperatures of 45-52°C with high dust load and no on-site grid power.
Solution Design
WSHT proposed a track-mounted 4-stage mobile train:
- Mobile jaw crusher (C96, 250 TPH) on tracked chassis
- Mobile cone crusher (HP200) with integrated vibrating screen
- Mobile VSI sand maker (B7100) for cubical product
- Mobile stacker conveyors for finished product stockpiling
- Diesel-hydraulic drive with low-fuel-consumption Tier 4 engines
Heat & Dust Adaptation
All radiators oversized by 30% for 50°C operation, dust-proof electrical enclosures (IP65), desert-specification air filters, and reinforced conveyor belts with high-temperature rubber covers. Optional water-spray dust suppression integrated into the train.
Deployment & Performance
The full train was mobilized from port to site in 3 days, and commissioning was completed within 36 hours of arrival. The train has now been relocated 6 times across the 3 quarry sites without major overhaul. Cumulative running hours > 4,500 with availability > 94%.
