Project Overview

WSHT supplied a complete portable crushing and screening plant for a major highway construction project in East Africa. The plant produced approximately 200,000 tonnes of various aggregate products over an 18-month contract period.

Equipment Supplied

Primary Mobile Unit:

  • Tracked jaw crusher (900×600mm)
  • Hydraulic feed hopper
  • Pre-screen for fines bypass

Secondary Mobile Unit:

  • Tracked cone crusher (1300mm)
  • Triple-deck screen
  • Radial stacking conveyors

Operating Conditions

  • Material: Basalt and andesite
  • Feed size: Up to 600mm
  • Humidity: 80-95%
  • Operating hours: 16 hours/day, 6 days/week
