Project Overview
WSHT completed a major modernization of a copper ore crushing circuit for a mining company in Peru. The project increased plant capacity from 35,000 to 45,000 tpd while improving equipment reliability and reducing operating costs.
Modernization Scope
Equipment Upgrades:
- New primary gyratory crusher (40-110HD)
- Replacement of older cone crushers with high-capacity units
- New triple-deck screens with premium media
- Upgraded conveyor system with wider belts
Automation Improvements:
- New PLC control system
- Integration with mine-wide SCADA
- Remote monitoring and diagnostics
- Automatic CSS adjustment system

- Capacity increase: 35,000 → 45,000 tpd (29% improvement)
