Working Principle

The MQYJ Ball Mill operates on the principle of impact and attrition grinding. The motor drives the cylinder to rotate through the reducer and ring gear. Grinding media (steel balls) are lifted to a certain height by the centrifugal force and lifter bars, then cascade down, impacting and grinding the ore particles against each other and the cylinder liners. The slurry flows through the mill continuously, with feed entering through the hollow shaft at one end and discharge exiting through the opposite end. Fineness of grinding is controlled by adjusting cylinder speed, ball charge, and retention time.

    Primary grinding in gold CIL/CIP plants to achieve target liberation size (typically 75% passing 75µm).
