Project Overview
The Hunan China Southern New Materials Project (Plant 2) complements Plant 1 with a dedicated 1,500 TPH facility focused on high-quality manufactured sand production. WSHT designed the plant for optimal sand particle shape and gradation control.
Project Scope
WSHT delivered a sand-optimized crushing and classification system producing manufactured sand meeting GB/T 14684-2011 I类 sand standards. The plant features advanced air classification and washing circuits.
Process Flow
Primary Crushing: A C120 jaw crusher (1200×900 mm, 180-350 t/h) processes ROM granite in enclosed chamber.
Secondary Crushing: HPT-300 cone crusher (100-200 t/h) produces −30 mm feed for sand making circuit.
Sand Making: VSI-8518 sand maker (80-180 t/h) with optimized cascade feed ratio produces cubical sand particles. Air classifier separates fine and coarse fractions.
Classification: Multi-stage hydrocyclone classification produces I类 sand (fineness modulus 2.4-2.8). Dewatering screen produces sand at 7% moisture.
