Project Overview

The Hunan China Southern New Materials Project (Plant 1) is a modern 3,000 TPH aggregate production base in Hunan Province. WSHT designed the facility to produce high-quality manufactured sand and graded aggregate for the regional construction market.

Project Scope

WSHT delivered a complete crushing, screening, and sand-making solution optimized for local granite (compressive strength 150-180 MPa, Bond Work Index 14.5 kWh/t). The plant features intelligent PLC control with real-time quality monitoring.

Process Flow

Primary Crushing: ROM granite (−1,000 mm) is crushed by a C160 jaw crusher (1600×1200 mm, 400-1000 t/h) in an enclosed chamber.

Secondary Crushing: 2× HPT-500 multi-cylinder hydraulic cone crushers (200-400 t/h each) produce −40 mm product with excellent particle shape.

Tertiary Sand Making: 2× VSI-9526 vertical shaft impact crushers (150-300 t/h each) produce manufactured sand with cubicity > 95%.

Screening & Washing: 3× 3YK-2460 vibrating screens classify product. XSD-3015 sand washer removes excess fines. Dewatering screen produces sand at 8% moisture.
