The shaking table separates minerals based on density differences using a combination of gravitational, inertial, and frictional forces. The table surface is inclined in both longitudinal and transverse directions. Feed slurry enters the feed box and is distributed across the table surface. The drive mechanism imparts an asymmetrical reciprocating motion (slow forward, rapid return), causing heavy mineral particles to move along the riffles toward the concentrate discharge end. Light gangue particles are washed by cross-flow water to the tailings side. Intermediate products are collected separately for re-processing if needed.
