Product Overview

The WSHT JJF/SF Series Flotation Machine is a self-aerating mechanical flotation cell designed for efficient separation of valuable minerals from gangue in ore beneficiation circuits. Combining the advantages of mechanical agitation with self-induced aeration, it delivers excellent bubble-particle contact and stable froth removal. Widely used in gold, copper, lead-zinc, nickel, and other non-ferrous metal flotation circuits, the JJF/SF series provides high recovery rates and concentrate grades with reliable operation.

Working Principle

The flotation machine operates based on the difference in surface hydrophobicity between valuable minerals and gangue. The rotating impeller creates a vacuum that draws air into the cell, dispersing it as fine bubbles throughout the slurry. Hydrophobic (valuable) mineral particles attach to air bubbles and rise to the surface, forming a froth layer that is removed by scrapers. Hydrophilic (gangue) particles remain in the slurry and exit as tailings. Chemical reagents (collectors, frothers, modifiers) are added to enhance the selectivity and efficiency of the separation process.
