Spiral chute, also known as spiral concentrator, is a high‑efficiency gravity separation machine. It adopts FRP (fiberglass reinforced plastic) main body with wear‑resistant PU lining, widely applied to recover fine gold, zircon, chromite and other heavy minerals from placer ore.
Different from flat sluice box which mainly catches coarse gold, spiral chute performs outstanding performance on fine‑particle gold recovery. It handles ore pulp by gravity flow. Minerals with different specific gravity will be separated while pulp flows down along the spiral groove. Heavy valuable minerals sink to the inner layer, and light gangue flows outward for discharge.

Q: What is the difference between spiral chute and sluice box? A: Sluice box works better for coarse gold particles. Spiral chute targets fine‑size gold which is easy to lose in normal sluice. They can work together to improve total gold recovery rate.
Q: Do I need extra power for spiral chute? A: The separation itself does not consume power. You only need water pump to deliver ore pulp.
Q: How to choose suitable model? A: Please offer your feeding particle size and required hourly capacity, we will recommend proper spiral chute for your mining project.
