Working Principle

The HP Series Cone Crusher operates using the laminated crushing principle. The motor drives the countershaft via V-belts, which rotates the eccentric bushing through a bevel gear pair. The main shaft gyrates eccentrically, causing the mantle surface to periodically approach and retreat from the concave surface. Materials in the crushing chamber are compressed, sheared, and impacted multiple times as they travel downward through the chamber. The multi-cylinder hydraulic system maintains constant clamping force while allowing automatic release when uncrushable materials enter the chamber.
