The DG Cone Crusher operates on the principle of laminated crushing. The motor drives the eccentric sleeve through a horizontal shaft and bevel gear pair, causing the main shaft to perform an eccentric gyratory motion. The mantle (moving cone) periodically approaches and retreats from the concave (fixed cone), compressing materials trapped in the crushing chamber. The single cylinder beneath the main shaft provides hydraulic support, adjusts the discharge opening, and acts as a safety device when non-crushable materials enter the chamber.
