PLC/SCADA Systems
Modern mining plants use PLC-based control systems with SCADA interfaces for reliable, efficient operation.
PLC Platforms
Siemens S7, Allen-Bradley ControlLogix, Schneider Modicon and Mitsubishi Q-series PLCs are commonly used. PLC selection depends on customer preference and existing infrastructure.
SCADA Architecture
Central SCADA servers provide operator HMI, alarm management, trending and historical data logging. Remote I/O stations connect field instruments to PLCs via industrial Ethernet or Profibus.
