Hematite Iron Ore Processing — Reverse Flotation & Gravity Separation Methods

Hematite Processing

Hematite (α-Fe₂O₃) is weakly magnetic, requiring reverse flotation, gravity separation or WHIMS for beneficiation.

Reverse Flotation

Cationic collectors float silica gangue while starch depresses iron minerals. Produces >65% Fe concentrate with <5% SiO₂.

Gravity Separation

Spiral concentrators and shaking tables separate hematite from lighter gangue based on density difference.

Key Highlights

Customized flowsheet design
Lab test validated performance
Full EPC turnkey delivery
Ongoing optimization support
