Cyanidation Optimization

Cyanidation is the most widely used gold extraction method. Optimization focuses on maximizing recovery while minimizing cyanide consumption and reagent costs.

Cyanide Dosage Control

ORP monitoring and automated cyanide dosing maintain optimal free cyanide concentration (100-500 ppm NaCN depending on ore type).

pH Control

Maintaining pH 10.0-11.0 ensures cyanide stability and minimizes HCN gas evolution. Lime is the standard pH modifier.

Dissolved Oxygen

Gold dissolution requires dissolved oxygen. In heap leach operations, air injection or oxygen-enriched solutions significantly improve leach kinetics.
