Copper Flotation Circuit

Copper flotation is the dominant process for sulphide copper ores. Circuit design balances recovery and concentrate grade while minimizing reagent consumption.

Rougher Flotation

Rougher cells maximize copper recovery with 15-30 minutes residence time. WSHT uses both mechanical and column flotation cells.

Cleaner Flotation

Cleaner stages upgrade concentrate grade. 2-3 cleaner stages with regrinding between stages are standard. Column cleaners achieve >28% Cu concentrate grades.
