WSHT in Russia — Engineering Excellence for Extreme Environments

Russia's mineral wealth is among the most extensive in the world, spanning the icy tundra of Siberia, the mineral-rich Ural Mountains, the vast Siberian Platform and the resource-rich Far East. WSHT Mining Group brings decades of engineering expertise and a proven track record in delivering turnkey EPC mineral processing projects across Russia's most challenging operating environments.

Our Russian operations are supported by a dedicated local engineering team, strategic partnerships with Russian construction and logistics companies, and a portfolio of winterized equipment designs that maintain full operational capability at ambient temperatures as low as −50 °C. From the initial feasibility study through to commissioning, operator training and long-term O&M support, WSHT delivers end-to-end project execution tailored to the unique demands of Russian mining projects.

Hard-Rock Gold Processing — Complete Crushing, Grinding and Recovery Circuits

Russia is one of the world's largest gold producers, and WSHT has delivered multiple gold processing plants for major Russian mining companies. Our typical gold processing flowsheet includes primary jaw crushing, secondary cone crushing, SAG or ball mill grinding, gravity concentration (Knelson-type centrifugal concentrators), froth flotation, CIL/CIP cyanidation and elution-electrowinning circuits. For refractory gold ores, we integrate roasting, pressure oxidation or bio-oxidation pre-treatment stages as required by the ore mineralogy.

WSHT's modular gold processing plants are especially valued in remote Siberian and Far East locations, where reduced on-site construction time, minimal civil works and containerized transportability deliver significant project schedule and cost advantages. Our plants consistently achieve gold recovery rates exceeding 92% across a wide range of ore types.

Iron Ore Beneficiation — High-Capacity Crushing, Screening and Magnetic Separation

The Kursk Magnetic Anomaly and Ural iron ore provinces represent some of the world's most significant iron ore reserves. WSHT supplies complete iron ore beneficiation plants encompassing primary gyratory crushing, secondary and tertiary cone crushing in closed circuit with multi-deck vibrating screens, high-intensity magnetic separation (both wet drum and dry magnetic separators), flotation for silica removal, and pellet feed preparation systems. Our plants are designed for throughput capacities from 2 million to 15 million tonnes per annum.

Polymetallic and Base Metal Processing

For Russia's complex polymetallic deposits — copper-nickel-PGM ores of the Norilsk region, lead-zinc ores of the Altai and Transbaikal regions, and tungsten-molybdenum deposits of the Caucasus — WSHT delivers integrated differential flotation circuits with advanced process control systems. Our flowsheet designs optimize sequential recovery of multiple valuable minerals while managing deleterious elements to produce high-grade marketable concentrates.

Winterized Equipment and Remote-Site Engineering

All WSHT equipment supplied to Russian projects undergoes winterization engineering including cold-weather steel specifications, heated lubrication systems, thermostatically controlled enclosure heating, low-temperature hydraulic fluids, arctic-grade electrical insulation and heated operator control rooms. Our remote-site logistics team manages equipment transportation across the Trans-Siberian Railway, winter roads and river transport to reach the most inaccessible project locations.

Local Service, Spare Parts and After-Sales Support

WSHT maintains a regional service center in Novosibirsk with a dedicated inventory of critical spare parts, a team of Russian-speaking service engineers, and a 24/7 remote monitoring and diagnostic center. We offer comprehensive after-sales support including annual maintenance contracts, performance optimization audits, operator training programs, and emergency field service response with target arrival within 72 hours to any operational Russian mine site.

Case Study — 3 Million TPY Gold Processing Plant, Magadan Region

WSHT recently completed delivery and commissioning of a 3 million tonnes per year gold processing plant in the Magadan Region of Far East Russia. The project scope included primary jaw crushing, SAG mill grinding, gravity concentration, flotation and CIL circuits, all housed in a winterized modular plant design. The project was delivered on schedule despite an 8-month winter construction season, with the plant achieving design throughput within 14 days of commissioning and gold recovery of 94.3% during the first month of commercial operation.
