Our Engineering Disciplines

Process & Mineral Processing Engineers

WSHT's mineral processing team includes senior engineers with 20+ years of experience designing crushing, screening, grinding and beneficiation flowsheets for gold, copper, iron ore, lithium, coal, aggregates and industrial minerals. Using process simulation software and ore testwork data, our engineers develop customized process flowsheets optimized for each deposit's unique mineralogy and production targets.

Mechanical Design Engineers

The mechanical engineering team is responsible for crusher, screen and grinding mill design — from concept through detailed CAD modeling, finite element analysis (FEA) and fatigue life simulation. Using SolidWorks, ANSYS and other advanced engineering tools, our designers optimize equipment structures for strength, weight and serviceability — ensuring robust performance under heavy continuous loads.

Structural & Civil Engineers

For EPC turnkey projects, WSHT structural and civil engineers design steel structures, equipment foundations, conveyor galleries, retaining walls and site infrastructure. Designs consider local seismic codes, soil bearing capacity, wind loads and climate conditions — ensuring safe, durable plant construction from tropical to arctic environments.

Electrical & Automation Engineers

Our electrical and automation team designs power distribution systems, motor control centers (MCCs), PLC/SCADA control systems, instrumentation networks and HMI interfaces. WSHT automation systems enable remote monitoring, automated process control and production data acquisition — supporting customers' digital mine initiatives.

Site Service & Commissioning Engineers

A dedicated team of field service engineers travels to project sites worldwide to supervise equipment installation, oversee commissioning, train customer operators and troubleshoot issues. Many of our field engineers speak English, Russian, Spanish or French — ensuring effective communication with international customers.

R&D and Continuous Innovation

WSHT invests over 5% of annual revenue in research and development, working closely with leading Chinese mining universities including China University of Mining and Technology, Central South University and Northeastern University. Our R&D center focuses on improving crushing efficiency, reducing energy consumption, extending wear part life and developing automation and digitalization solutions for next-generation mining operations.

Training & Knowledge Transfer

We believe that well-trained operators and maintenance personnel are essential for long-term plant performance. Our engineering team provides comprehensive training programs covering equipment operation, routine maintenance, troubleshooting and process optimization — both at our factory training center and on customer sites. Training materials are available in English, Russian, Spanish and French.

Global Project Experience

Collectively, WSHT engineers have delivered equipment and process solutions for over 2,000 mining and aggregate projects in more than 80 countries. This global experience means our team understands the diverse challenges of mining operations — from high-altitude Andean copper mines to Arctic gold projects, from tropical lateritic nickel deposits to desert aggregate quarries.
