On July 30, 2024, the The 11th National Sand & Aggregate Technology Conference was grandly held in Huzhou,
Zhejiang, Organized by the China Sand and Stone Association (CSSA), the event brought together leaders
from relevant national ministries, provincial and municipal government officials, heads of regional sand and
aggregates associations, industry experts, and representatives from leading enterprises across the country.
WSHT Mining group, as a standing council member of CSSA, was invited to attend, with Jiao Long, Director of
the Marketing Department, representing the company.
The conference was chaired by Yao Shaowu, Vice President of CSSA, with an opening speech delivered by
Wang Min, former Vice Minister of the Ministry of Land and Resources. Under the theme “New Era, New
Challenges, Innovative solutions, New Paradigm“, the event aimed to analyze the competitive
characteristics of past adjustments in China’s sand and aggregates industry, explore future development
directions for the sector and equipment manufacturing under new circumstances, and discuss innovative
transformation strategies for enterprises. It also served as a platform to exchange the latest technological
achievements, concepts, and business models, providing comprehensive strategic guidance for companies
seeking new markets, channels, and growth opportunities. The conference emphasized the critical role of
science and technology in driving high-quality development, promoting industrial restructuring and upgrading,
and fostering a new era of sustainable growth for the sand and aggregates sector.
Hu Youyi, President of CSSA, delivered a keynote report titled “Sand and Aggregates Industry Enters a
Period of Deep Adjustment.” The report highlighted that the global economy faces significant challenges,
with growth slowing continuously since the 2008-2009 financial crisis. Given multiple adverse factors, the IMF
predicts that global economic growth will decelerate to just over 3% by 2029. In the long run, innovation-driven
policies will be key to sustaining global development.
As a leading industry representative, Jiao Long, Marketing Director of WSHT Mining Group, shared the
company’s practical experience and achievements in innovation-driven development. During the conference,
he engaged in in-depth discussions with experts and enterprise representatives on topics such as
technological innovation, green development, and industrial policies. He emphasized that WSHT Mining

contributing to the sector’s progress.
